Performance of the steps comprising a work in a manner that is least expensive (in terms of effort, money, and time) and consistent with the objective of the work.

Definition: Work simplification describes the making of daily tasks easier in order to reduce strain, or to decrease the amount energy required to complete an activity. 

Work Simplification is a scientific approach to study work processes with a view to simplifying the process such that the work process becomes more effecient and effective and thereby raises productivity and reduces wastage of labor effort, materials, space, time and energy in the process of producing a good or delivering a service.
